Buddha story | The Seeker’s Journey

 The Seeker’s Journey
In a quiet village nestled between rolling hills, there lived a young man named Arin. From a young age, he had been taught to follow the traditions of his elders without question. Every morning, he would bow at the temple, recite the prayers he had memorized, and go about his day, never stopping to wonder why. But deep inside, a spark of curiosity burned—one that he had long ignored.
One evening, an old traveler arrived in the village. His presence was different—calm yet filled with an unshakable wisdom. Arin approached him and asked, "How do I know what is true? How do I find meaning?" The old man smiled and replied, "Doubt everything. Find your own light." The words struck Arin like a bolt of lightning. That night, he lay awake, realizing that he had spent his life following paths drawn by others, never once asking if they were his own.

The next morning, Arin made a decision. He left his village and set off on a journey—not to seek answers from others, but to discover them within himself. He questioned, he learned, he failed, and he grew. With each experience, his own light grew brighter, guiding him toward a truth that was uniquely his own. And in the end, he understood—wisdom is not given; it is found.
